What type is my blog? - Typealyzer

I found this site which analyzes your blog (you just type your URL) then gives you your personality type. Hmmm...a twist to the usual personality tests?!

I tried it out and got the following result:

The analysis indicates that the author of http://lovemeorleaveme.wordpress.com is of the type:

ESFP - The Performers

The entertaining and friendly type. They are especially attuned to pleasure and beauty and like to fill their surroundings with soft fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells. They live in the present moment and don´t like to plan ahead - they are always in risk of exhausting themselves.

The enjoy work that makes them able to help other people in a concrete and visible way. They tend to avoid conflicts and rarely initiate confrontation - qualities that can make it hard for them in management positions.

Well, I don't really see myself as a performer. Hehehe...When I tried the Jung and Briggs test  or the Myers-Briggs Type Indictor (MBTI) last year, I was an ISFJ - The Protector. Several years ago, I think I was an ISTJ -The Duty Fulfiller. Maybe I wasn't my usual self last year and so the "T" became an "F". ;-)

  2. Hi there! I came across this post through my Google Alerts for the word "MBTI." This may or may not be of interest to you, but I write a blog about the MBTI and wrote a post about how Typealyzer is basically junk. I know lots of people are checking it out for entertainment sake- and that's totally cool...but I hope you don't confuse those "blog type" results for your own personality type. Anyway, I won't go into why the site is junk here, I just wanted to let you know if you wanted to learn more, here's the original post: http://www.thembtiblog.com/2008/11/websites-that-ruin-my-day.html. I also have a discussion in the comments section with the creator of the Typealyzer site.
