Thanksgiving prayer to St. Jude Thaddeus

God is truly great! :-D

Dear Lord, Mama Mary and St. Jude, thank you for all your blessings!

-----------------------------------------------

Prayer for Thanksgiving (from this site)
(To be said when a favor has been granted)

O Most sweet Lord Jesus Christ, in union with the unutterable heavenly praise with which the Most Holy Trinity extols Itself and which flows upon Your Sacred Humanity, upon Mary, upon all the angels and saints, I praise, glorify and bless You for all the graces and privileges You have bestowed upon your chosen apostle and intimate friend, Jude Thaddeus. I pray You for the sake of his merits, grant me Your grace, and through his intercession come to my aid in all my needs, but especially at the hour of my death deign to strengthen me against the rage of my enemies. Amen.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father, three times.

Lonely

I'm feeling a little bit lonely (which is probably why I'm still up). :-(

I remembered this opinion I posted on Facebook...Sometimes, even if you have tons of friends, you'll realize that you only have yourself to depend on. *Sigh*

I think I need to do new things and meet new people.

Slow Down

I was reading through a friend's blog when I came across her entry on slowing down.

I so loved this paragraph...
Slowing down doesn’t mean being complacent, just as rushing doesn’t mean being a go-getter.  Slowing down doesn’t mean being too laid back, just as rushing doesn’t mean being too serious.  Slowing down doesn’t mean defeat, just as rushing doesn’t mean victory.  Slowing down doesn’t mean failure, just as rushing doesn’t mean achievements.

What type is my blog? - Typealyzer

I found this site which analyzes your blog (you just type your URL) then gives you your personality type. Hmmm...a twist to the usual personality tests?!

I tried it out and got the following result:

The analysis indicates that the author of http://lovemeorleaveme.wordpress.com is of the type:

ESFP - The Performers

The entertaining and friendly type. They are especially attuned to pleasure and beauty and like to fill their surroundings with soft fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells. They live in the present moment and don´t like to plan ahead - they are always in risk of exhausting themselves.

The enjoy work that makes them able to help other people in a concrete and visible way. They tend to avoid conflicts and rarely initiate confrontation - qualities that can make it hard for them in management positions.

Well, I don't really see myself as a performer. Hehehe...When I tried the Jung and Briggs test  or the Myers-Briggs Type Indictor (MBTI) last year, I was an ISFJ - The Protector. Several years ago, I think I was an ISTJ -The Duty Fulfiller. Maybe I wasn't my usual self last year and so the "T" became an "F". ;-)

May God be praised!

----------

O GLORIOUS APOSTLE, St. Jude Thaddeus, true relative of Jesus and Mary, I salute thee through the most Sacred Heart of Jesus! Through this Heart, I praise and thank God for all the graces He has bestowed upon thee. Humbly prostrate before thee. I implore thee through this Heart to look down upon me with compassion. Oh, despise not my poor prayers; let not my trust be confounded! To thee God has granted the privilege of aiding mankind in the most desperate cases. Oh, come to my aid, that I may praise the mercies of God! All my life I will be grateful to thee and will be thy faithful client until I can thank thee in heaven. Amen.
